Vista Spyders’ Provide Options for Stereoscopic 3-D Players, Visualization and 3-D Imaging

Vista Spyder processors have the ability to add a stereoscopic (or 3-D imaging) option to all Spyder models. With the Spyder and Spyder X20 the addition of the stereoscopic platform creates the support needed for 3-D video content. This option adds full stereoscopic support to Spyder's already extensive list of features like mixing, scaling, smooth-motion, keying, and blending. The end results of the stereoscopic 3-D player option on your Spyder or Spyder X20 is the display of 3-D images. The performance and feature set provided by this combination is unparallel to any product on the market today.

The stereoscopic integration has been popular for years and is still a popular addition for current Vista Spyder users and prospective users. Its use is versatile and applicable within a multitude of industries and companies. Engineering, medical research, pharmaceutical, science, automotive, entertainment, architecture, museums, education, aerospace, visualization and oil and gas companies are using Spyder or Spyder X20 with the stereoscopic 3-D player to create their 3-D images.

For instance Mechdyne clients such as Hess Oil use the Vista Spyder for 3-D graphic displays which allows students to resize, maneuver and interact with visuals in order to create their own layouts.

3-D imagery is often used to display a message, whether it is a 3-D model car, a 3-D pastor or a 3-D depiction of seismic data. A 3-D projection on a large screen displaying data found or images of a new campaign are perfect examples of how the stereoscopic 3-D player can be used in the work place.

Not only are private industries using 3-D imagery, but many predict the future of TV will also be using 3-D imagery. One might also assume that with this prediction that consumers might start seeing 3-D display ads at malls, car dealerships, airports, and public places. The addition of a stereoscopic 3-D player to a Spyder or Spyder X20 will be able to produce all of these forms of 3-D images.
